Achar Gosht Masala

Achar Gosht Masala brings the authentic tangy, pickle-spice flavour of Pakistani Achar Gosht in one convenient 40g box. Blended with mustard seeds, nigella (kalonji), fennel, cumin, and fenugreek. Perfect for goat, lamb, or beef curries served with rice or naan.

Ingredients

  • Meat (Beef / Mutton / Chicken): 2 kg
  • Whole green chilies: 12 pieces
  • Yogurt (whisked): (600 grams)
  • Garlic (paste): 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger (paste): 2 tablespoons
  • Tomatoes: 10 pieces
  • Oil / Ghee: (400 grams)
  • Lemon juice: 6 tablespoons
  • Yaqub Achaar Gosht: 2 packets

Steps to Make

  1. Mix Yaqub Achaar Gosht Masala in yogurt and add garlic and ginger paste. Apply it to the meat and leave it for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix 1 tablespoon Achaar Gosht Masala in lemon juice, make slits in the green chilies and stuff them with this mixture.
  3. Add the marinated meat into hot oil and cook well. Add water and cover on low heat to tenderize the meat until the masala releases oil. Delicious Achaar Gosht is ready. Serve hot with naan.
